Year 4 Learning

Welcome to the Year 4 Curriculum Overview page

From the first week in September until the end of the school year, Year 4 are fully engaged in a learning journey which takes them from discovering the Anglo Saxons and Vikings to the Ancient Civilizations of Sumer and Egypt.

We encourage children to reflect on their learning, challenge themselves and make the most of different opportunities offered in school. In P.S.H.E. we aim for children to develop a growth mind set and to understand the skills needed to be a good learner.
In the stimulating environments of our classrooms, we establish clear routines and have high expectations of each child to reach their full potential. Confidence is built through participation in whole class worships, daily worship, team events and enrichment workshops.
If you have any questions or concerns throughout the term, please speak to your child’s class teacher on the playground at the end of the day, or email your class teacher on;
